2025 ends and 2026 begins…

Every new year we sit a reflect on what kind of year we have had.

2025 was our year of achievements.

Rubi taking her GCSE’s and passing them and then getting an Apprenticeship placement in a great field. Joining a new football team and absolutely loving it! Getting to play for the women’s first team regularly, including in an FA cup match and getting player of the match! At just 16 years old! WOW!

New job for me, new job for Troy. Both helping us achieve better skills.

Starting to pass my qualification. Only 3 more exams left, and level 2 will be passed!

Layton restarting rugby and smashing it. He used to be so afraid, now he dives in (literally) headfirst.

Ellia finishing middle school and transitioning to high school, not been the easiest transition, but doing really well.

Becoming financially stable and secure. A year ago, we would have struggled through, but with meticulous planning, we have become more financially secure and are able to enjoy things now without worrying.

BOOKING WDW – our absolute dream holiday! 2 weeks in Orlando, staying at a moderate resort!! Disney tickets, Universal tickets and flights & car booked! We just have to wait for MNSSHP to be released, and we will be fully booked.

Finally getting somewhere with my Endo/PCOS pain and weight loss! This has been a huge achievement, not that it’s not been a complete nightmare, but we are heading in the right direction.

Moving Kez was a huge achievement – not for us, for her. She made a massive decision to move out of her house and over to Much Wenlock. Massive step for her which was amazing and I’m so glad we could help her with that.

We took Leni on her first ever flight and DLP Paris trip and we successfully navigated the French trains 😊. We had the best time and are looking forward to future trips.

Not everything has been good though, we lost some people during the year. We have battled with health problems, had fall outs, struggled mentally, physically and emotionally.

Our poor little Louis bun broke his leg in October, and we thought we were going to lose him. But the amazing vets managed to operate and fix his little leg and he’s now recovering well from it.

2026 is all about us! We are hoping to create some amazing memories this year! We have so much to look forward to, including 2 Disney trips! We have a wedding, we have birthdays and anniversaries, family get togethers, book club meetings!

I plan to blog more and eventually start vlogging too! We’re hoping to do this for WDW, even if its just for us to look back on.

We are attempting a no spend year too as last year we spent so much on unnecessary purchases! We want to move house this year as well so hoping to save for that, as well as WDW and DLP! 2026 is going to be expensive!

We cannot wait to share all these amazing things with you!

2026 – BRING IT ON!
