Well, how did that happen so fast?
I cannot believe it is only 9 weeks until mine and Kirst’s trip to Disneyland Paris! We booked this 58 weeks out (406 days)! And now it’s only 63 days away!! I cannot contain my excitement. The trip is all paid, including our flights, we just need to decide how we are getting to our hotel. We are thinking of using the TGV as this is only 9 minutes. Really need to start thinking about what I need to pack too. Best get the packing cubes ready!
We are going during the Halloween season, and I cannot wait!!! The parks will be dressed in pumpkins and ghosts and all things Halloween. There will be limited edition snacks and merch and the parades and shows will be themed around spooks too! All the characters will be dressed up in their costumes and the Villains will be out!! This will be mine and Kirst’s second DLP trip together and I really can’t wait! We are going in both our favourite seasons. All though Christmas season is also amazing! I’ll be writing a full trip report once we have been!
Some essentials I will be taking is my EU plug adapter and extension lead. This is such a simple travel hack as you end up with more than one plug to use. This will also be my first attempt at Vlogging! So will need the extra plugs for that equipment.
I usually bring medicines from home too as not all countries have the same as UK. I suffer from PCOS and Endometriosis, so need to take high levels of pain killers when I have flare ups. Heat pads are also essential for aches and pains. Plasters for blisters too! Walking 20,000+ steps a day at Disney is no joke, your feet will ache!
A water bottle is a must! On our previous trip we wasted our drinks because we couldn’t carry them around the park (quick service meals serve them in cups), so this time I’m using a hack we used in Nov 23 trip and taking a bottle to put the rest of the quick service drinks in!
I need a new rain mac for this trip too, my bunnies nibbled through my last one (just showing their love) and as we are going beginning of October, we could encounter some showers (Finger crossed we don’t). I’m hoping it’s not too cold. Our last trip was March 23, and it was quite cold then. So, hoping for some nicer weather.
I have recently bought two new (well new to me) Spirit jerseys. I have Oogie Boogie from Nightmare before Christmas (which Kirst also has so we can match) and then recently got my Holy grail.. Maleficent. Its purple and green and has her as a dragon on it! I absolutely loved it the second I saw it. I bought a matching Loungefly bag to match. I had been searching for the perfect bag and this one popped up on Vinted, so I made an offer and it got accepted!! Ordered my ears off Etsy from KEHBoutiqueStore who makes the most amazing ears for a good price. Can’t wait to see the whole fit together!
Kirst is currently trying to decide which other Spirit Jersey to buy. The three she has picked are all beautiful! They are all tie-dye, one is Maleficent, one is Hocus Pocus, and the other is Oogie Boogie. There is also a Madame Leota one we have both looked at! I definitely haven’t advised her to buy two 😐 such a bad influence!
The next time we see Disney all dressed up for Halloween will be Walt Disney World in 2026…. How exciting!
